Expect the unexpected this month, as the planets, the eclipses and aspects conspire to shift the consciousness and reality of this world.

1st February: Full Moon @ 13’ Leo

On the 1st of February the Leo Full Moon stands proud and courageous as a lion, standing in opposition to the other personal planets in Aquarius, representing society or our friends, comrades.  I think we need this upfront Leo energy to off-set what is happening in the world, what the think tanks, group speak is saying, to bring our hearts back into the main frame; for each of us to see our sovereignty and power, instead being part of a nameless, faceless society.  This is the lone Leo heart, the David against Goliath, the single individual ready to stand up, for perhaps a new Tiananmen Square moment.  Because of course, we are heading to the historic Saturn Neptune conjunction, so this Leo heartfelt expression, augurs well for a dynamic act of heroism to occur.

It seems that all the main aspects for 2026 are occurring in January as the stellium in Capricorn and its New Moon, makes sure New Year’s Resolutions have the business management acronym of SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timed.

This ‘New Year, New You, Full Moon’ is the juxtaposition of family life coming up large and unwieldy after Christmas gatherings, and in a paradox to the intention to create a vision of the whole year and get back to work on it.  It’s a stretch, but amongst the serious business, this lunation is a softening into your own care, as much as it is for others.  Jupiter is augmenting the emotions here, so it might be hard to see straight or rationally, but a deepening of your emotional wisdom via the formative world that gave you a set of coping mechanisms is not bad recognition to work with and can be, ultimately, very creative and satisfying.

This is the queue to get stuff done, sort your finances, re-boot your career, outline your goals.  Use this energy to be the motivated Capricorn, aiming for success and a wealth boost.

Particularly intense days are when the Sun, Venus and mars all meet on 6th January at 16’ Capricorn, like a double Cazimi power blast which lasts through the 7th at 17’, 8th at 18’, 9th at 19’ and finally the 10th at 20’ Capricorn.

Venus moves ahead of the triplet and this bodes well for financial agreements, negotiations and wealth planning.
